大足石刻宋代两组取经图简说

摘　　要：大足石刻有两组宋代取经图,分别位于北山石窟和妙高山石窟。从两组造像题材和毫光来看,与多数取经图在图像表现上具有相似性,同时又具有自身特点。两组造像表现唐代高僧玄奘取经的场景,对于了解取经图在石窟中的流变、《西游记》成书之前的情况都具有参考价值。Among the Dazu Rock Carvings, there are two scenes of the Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scripture from the Song dynasty that were engraved respectively in the Beishan and Miaogaoshan Grottoes. Based on the theme and urna-laksana, the two scenes are unique to some extent but similar in iconographical depiction.Further analysis suggests that the two scenes represent episodes of monk Xuan Zang＇s Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scriptures and are thus significant for understanding the changes and development of this theme in Buddhist caves and the context of the story prior to the writing of Journey to the West.
