美国梦蕴含的价值观及其危机

摘　　要：美国梦是当今世界上最有影响力的梦想之一,它承诺只要经过坚持不懈的努力奋斗,就可以在美国过上更好的生活。美国梦的实现,必须依靠个人的勤奋工作、勇气、创意和意志,而不依赖于特定的社会阶级和别人的帮助。美国梦成为美国各个历史时期大多数美国人和新移民所持有的"从平民到富翁"的精神信仰和价值观,是对美国文化精神的高度概括。美国梦是美国人核心价值观的集中体现,是一种贯穿美利坚民族历史、最能体现美国人的精神生活方式和美国国民精神的理想信念。美国梦所蕴含的价值观也存在物质主义和不受约束的个人主义的危机,逐渐偏离了美国的传统价值观。但是,美国梦对于中国梦的实现仍然具有启示意义。The American Dream is one of the world＇s most influential dreams.It promises to one that just after unremitting efforts,he/she can lead a better life in the United States.The realization of the American Dream relies on one＇s hard work,courage,creativity and will,rather than particular social class and others＇ help.Such a dream is the spirit and value held by most Americans and new immigrants during the various historical periods of the United States and has become the summarization of American cultural spirit.It embodies the core American values and is the ideal of American living style and national spirit that can be found throughout history.However,the values inherent in the American Dream is also faced with a crisis brought by materialism and unfettered individualism,unfettered crisis,and risk deviating from the traditional American values.Even so,it can still shed light on the Chinese Dream.
