摘　　要：《爱情是谬误》是美国著名小说家马克斯·舒尔曼叙事小说的经典。作者别具匠心地采用语域偏离这一叙事技巧,使小说呈现了戏谑、幽默及讽刺的反讽效果。从语域分析的角度,对小说主要人物之间的对话进行分析,探讨作者运用语域偏离的叙事技巧在建构文学作品反讽意义方面的价值。Love Is a Fallacy is one of the masterpieces by Max Shulman, a well-known American humorist. The paper conducts a detailed analysis of the dialogues between two main character ＂ Dobie＂ and ＂ Polly＂ in the novel from the perspective of register theory in Systemic and Functional Linguistics and finds that the writer＇s skillful application of narrative technique of deviation of register has great ironical stylistic presentation in the construction of literary text.
