摘　　要：烟台冬季的海,少了些夏日的热闹与喧嚣,多了些冬日的宁静与稳重;少了些夏日的妩媚与婉约,多了些冬日的雄浑与壮阔。冬季的海水不再像夏日那样轻盈碧绿,变得湛蓝而厚重。夏日里活泼可爱的浪花,此刻间似乎平添了许多沧桑。冬季的早晨,太阳像被冻住了,迟迟不肯露面,海面上氤氲着袅袅的雾霭,只有冬泳者奋臂击水,搏海戏浪,似在诠释着海边人的豪情。Several years ago when I heard of a song titled 'Come to Taipei to See the Rain in Winter,' I wondered why people would go to Taipei to see the rain.When I read the lyries,I came to find it was a song by Tingwei Meng,a Taiwan Residents female singer,to express her homesickness.At that time I thought one should come to Yantai to see the sea in winter rather than go to Taipei to see the rain in winter.I have some point in saying so.The sea in Yantai is different from that in other regions.The coastal lines of China's continental shelf are generally in the vertical direction.For many cities,the sea is mostly in the east or the south while Yantai's sea is in the north of the city.Especially in winter Yantai has many scenes that cannot be seen from other places.In winter the cold air from Siberia experiences no barriers and goes straightforward.By then the sea would be like a torrential stage where mighty and powerful plays are put on live.The sea in winter in Yantai is less bustling and boisterousness than summer with more serenity and steadiness of winter.It is less graceful and delicate but more vigorous and grander than summer.The sea water in winter is no longer as soft and green as that in summer but become more blue and massy.The vibrant and lovely waves in summer now seem to be more weathered at this moment.In the winter morning,the sun is like frozen and appears so late.The sea surface is enshrouded in the rising fog.Only the winter swimmers strike the water hard with their arms to fight with the sea and play with the waves as if they are expressing their passion as the seaside people.
