摘 要:华文教育形成之初目的比较单一,即教育华裔子弟不忘民族语言,传承中华文化。但随着中国对外交流与影响的日益增强,其所承载的功能已经逐渐多元化,不再是单纯意义上的语言文化教学活动,而逐渐上升为以华侨华人为媒介,以对话、沟通、交流、信任为原则的侨务公共外交行为。本文在归纳华文教育与侨务公共外交内在联系的基础上,分析了华文教育发挥侨务公共外交功能的主要表现,提出华文教育彰显侨务公共外交功能的三个路径,并进一步指出,通过华文教育与侨务公共外交的双向互动,可以更好地塑造包容、民主、多元、开放的中国形象。There was just one single purpose of Overseas Chinese education when it came into being: to teach the Oversea Chinese descendents to inherit their ethnic language and Chinese culture. With the rapid development of China's communication with the world, Overseas Chinese Education's function is being multiplied. Its function is not only teaching language and culture, but more importantly conducting public diplomacy in Overseas Chinese af- fairs based on the principle of "dialogue, communication, exchange and trust" with the help of Overseas Chinese. Based on the induction of Chinese Education Overseas Chinese public diplomacy and internal relations, this paper analyzes the main performance of Chinese Education Overseas Chinese public diplomacy function, and put forward three paths that Chinese education reveal features of Overseas Chinese public diplomacy. And further proposes that the interaction between Overseas Chinese Education and public diplomacy in Overseas Chinese affairs China helps construct a more inclusive, democratic, multiple and open image of China.
