摘　　要：人民调解因其合意性、广泛性、便捷性、社会参与性、相对彻底性,在解决社会民间纠纷中发挥着重要的作用,在解决高校学生纠纷中也具有一定的应用基础和价值,并已在部分高校中得到了不同程度的实践,但还没有形成一套完整的机制。为此,需要在调解主体、原则、范围、程序、保障等方面进行系统设计。The people＇s mediation has been used in solving the problem of social and civil disputes, because of its desirability, universality, convenience, social participation and relatively complete. It also has a certain application basis and value in solving the disputes of college students, and been used in varying degrees in some colleges. But it has not formed a complete system. Therefore, it＇s necessary to carry on systematically design in subject, principles, scope, procedures, security and other aspects of mediation.
