摘　　要：在对奥兰多经历的每一个时代的叙事中,这样或那样的建筑空间都会作为故事发生的背景出现。各种不同的空间,就是构成具有差异性和无限可能性的社会空间的碎片,投射出人物分裂的多个自我,于是一个变化的、多样的、复杂的奥兰多呈现在读者眼前。伍尔夫没有囿于对各种空间客观的、外在的、肤浅的描述,而是将它们融入人物的刻画和叙事的编排中,并赋予了它们阐释人性和社会的重要意义。Orlando is a narration of Orolando＇s life stories of different ages. The story of each age takes place in a different architectural or geographical space. These spaces,however,not just function as the story settings,but also the pieces of social space woven by differences and possibilities,where the split self of the character is projected. With these spaces a varied,diverse and complicated Orlando emerges between the lines. In a word,V. Woolf＇s writing is not confined to the objective,external and surface description of different spaces. Instead,they are integrated with characterization and narration of the novel and thus are endowed with a significance of interpreting the human nature and the social reality.
