Objective To explore the effect of the tracking intervention based on network information platform on quality of life and depression for breast cancer survivors after surgery. Methods Ninety breast cancer survivors after surgery were randomized into a control group and an intervention group, with 45 cases in each group, patients in the control group received routine follow-up after discharge, and others in the intervention group received the tracking intervention which based on network information platform both during hospitalization and after discharge.Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B)and Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression Scale(CES-D)were utilized to assess quality of life as well as depression level both at admission and 3 months after discharge. Results Three months after discharge, the score of FACT-B for patients in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P〈0.05,P〈0.01),while the score of CES-D was significantly lower than patients in the control group(P〈0.01).Conclusion The tracking intervention based on network information platform is conducive to improve quality of life for breast cancer survivors after surgery, and decreases depression level for them.
