摘　　要：可靠性设计和可持续性设计是早年设计界流行并存在争议的两个问题,如今这个争议正在趋于融合。可持续性设计思想强调设计应该考虑有限地球资源的使用,为保护地球环境而服务。这与可靠性设计中的简化设计和设计预防的概念有异曲同工的相似之处。二者设计方向有所不同,但在设计过程中却有许多相同之处。工业设计除了在产品外形上标新立异之外,内部结构和材料的优化也日益成为一个越来越值得设计师深思的课题。现从中德教师合作课程"桌子的设计"工作坊中的5个课程实践案例入手,对可靠性设计和可持续设计在家具产品设计中的应用作了阐述。进而对"桌"这样一种最常见的产品在功能上的扩散、借鉴与运用以及可靠性和节能环保等方面进行了探讨。Reliability design and sustainable design are two issues which came to popularity early in design in dustry but have become the focus in debate. The idea of sustain able design emphasizes that design should consider the use of the earth＇s limited resources in order to protect the global environment. This thought is similar to the idea of simplifed design ＆ design prevention. These design concepts move in different directions, but maintain many similarities in the design process. Optimization of internal structure and material is becoming a topic that is worth thinking about, parallel to the special appearance of industrial design products. This article expounds the application of reliability design and sustainable design in furniture product design and it sets about the fve cases of ＂ Table Design＂ from a cooperative workshop course between China and Germany. And further discussed many aspects such as energy conservation and environmental protection, etc.
