摘 要:书法艺术是中国传统艺术的重要组成部分,近年来,随着电脑字库的不断发展,很多传统书体形式都被开发成了字体,广泛应用于各类设计中,目前,业内认为书法字体有着印刷字体无法比拟优势的观点也不在少数。通过对视觉传达设计实例的分析发现,被广泛运用于设计中的书法字体存在很多问题。采用案例对比分析,分别从书法的笔法、结体和章法的角度,指出了书法字体与书法艺术间的差异。研究表明,将书法家原字开发成字库有悖于书法艺术审美的基本规律,设计师在使用书法字进行视觉传达设计时也可以使用书法原字,或使用古代书法家的集字,遵循书法艺术的基本规律及审美要求。Chinese calligraphy is an important part of traditional arts. In recent years,with the fast development of computer font data base,lots of traditional Chinese calligraphy font are developed into new font and widely used in various design.Lots of professionals still think that calligraphic font has lots of advantages that print words do not have. With many years practice,there are lots of question in using of font in art and design. This paper uses case study and way of comparing and analyzing to illustrate the difference of the style of calligraphy,composition,and way of organizing. The way of development of font data base from of raw characters of calligraphers is contrary to the principle of aesthetics of arts,as well as also finds ways of proper using calligraphy in visual art design.
