摘　　要：索尔·贝娄是犹太裔作家,其特定的身份注定了他作品中的犹太品性,特别是犹太人意识中的弥赛亚救赎理想更是深入到作品当中,短篇小说《寻找格林先生》表现了对弥赛亚临近的期盼,长篇小说《赛姆勒先生的行星》则表现了对弥赛亚时代的呼唤。贝娄作品中的弥赛亚救赎理想是在荒诞现代社会中积极寻找终极意义,是以善良意志、自律来开创正义、公平、平等的新时代。Saul Bellow is a Jewish writer; his particular identity determines the Jewish character in his works.Ideal of Messianic Salvation in Jewish consciousness seeps into his works. The short story ＂Looking for Mr.Green ＂ shows the hope for the coming of Messiah; the novel ＂ Mr.Sanurder ＂ s Planet＂ is the performance of the call of the messianic era.Ideal of messianic redemption in Bellow＇ s works is actively looking for the ultimate meaning in the absurd modern society, and building a new righteous, fair and equal era with good will and self-discipline.
