摘  要:空间行波管以其高功率、高效率等优势广泛应用于卫星通信,为实现大功率输出,对两支X波段空间行波管进行功率合成设计及验证,设计一款低插损、幅相均衡、高隔离度的波导魔T功率合成器。通过前端引入移相器和衰减器,两只X波段空间行波管在0.7 GHz内,输出功率大于85 W合成效率大于90%。该合成器可以作为二进制功率合成单元用于更多支空间行波管高效率、大功率合成。Space traveling wave tube amplifier(TWTA)is widely applied to satellite communication with the advantage of high power and efficiency. To achieve high output power, a high efficiency power combining demonstration of 2 X-band TWTAs based on magic-T corporate combiner is presented. A low loss, amplitude and phase balanced, high isolation and power waveguide magic-T combiner is designed. Power combining efficiencies of greater than 90% and output power of more than 85 W over a 0.7 GHz frequency band are successfully demonstrated by introducing phase shifter and variable attenuator within input end. Such combiner can also be taken as an element within a corporate combining architecture of more TWTAs for much high efficiency and power outputting for satellite communication or other industrial application.
