摘　　要：民间信仰是民俗文化的根本。作为一种文化的存在,民间信仰在当代社会获得了一定的合法性。然而"文化"的标签却淡化了其"信仰"的本质。丢掉了信仰本身,作为一种文化的信仰就失去了活力。于今,民间信仰的境遇面临着两种尴尬,作为文化遗产,其文化的特点在商业化过程中不断减退;作为"信仰",其信仰的低俗化使其难登大雅之堂。这恰恰是民间信仰在现代社会发展的境遇写照。Folk beliefs is the fundamental of folk culture. As a kind of culture, folk religion gained some legitimacy in modern society. However, the ~tag ＂of the culture dilute the nature of faith. When lost faith itself, the belief lost the vitality. Today, folk belief faced with two awkward： as a cultural heritage, its characteristics of cultural is going down; as a kind of belief, its vulgarization reduced the elegant of belief, This is the precisely reflection of folk religion in modern society.
