摘　　要：区域经济竞争力主要由区位条件、经济发展水平及可持续发展能力等多重因素构成。科学选址,设立沪通长江大桥经济开发区,能提升集聚生产要素能力、提升承接上海自贸区"溢出效益"能力、增强区域经济竞争力优势、促进产业结构调整与优化、促进物流产业大发展、促进城市功能提升,提升南通区域经济竞争力。Regional economic competitiveness is composed of many factors, such as regional conditions, the level of economic development and the capability of sustainable development. Selecting the location reason- ably to establish the Economic Development Zone of the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge can improve the abili- ties of assembing the capacity of production factors and taking over the ＂Spillover Benefits＂ of Shanghai FTA, strengthen the regional advantages of economic competitiveness, advance the adjustment and optimization of the industrial structure, promote the development of the logistics industry, push forward the urban functions upgrading, and improves the regional economic competitiveness of Nantong.
