摘　　要：理解普鲁弗洛克的"重大的问题"是理解《J·阿尔弗瑞德·普鲁弗洛克的情歌》主题的关键。在《J·阿尔弗瑞德·普鲁弗洛克的情歌》中,艾略特通过对普鲁弗洛克心路历程的描写、互文性和"非个性化"理论的运用,将一个表面看来滑稽可笑的个人情爱问题转化为对现代人类生存状况——"生存还是毁灭"这一"重大的问题"的严肃思考。在一首貌似无情的"情歌"里,体现出诗人对人类命运的深切关怀。The key to the understanding of＂The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock＂lies in the understanding of significant issues of J.Alfred Prufrock.In ＂The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock＂,by the description of J.Alfred Prufrock＇idea course and the employment of intertextuality and impersonal theory,T.S.Eliot turns the funny personal love affair to the serious pondering on the significant question in modern human condition,namely,＂to be or not to be＂.Thus,the poet＇s deep concern towards human destiny is thus conveyed by this ruthless love poem.
