摘　　要：18、19世纪和20世纪早期,是英国以友谊会为主体的互助运动蓬勃发展时期。它们对此期间及以后的英国社会产生了意义极为深远的影响。尽管友谊会不具有明显的政治诉求,仅是以成员间互助为根本宗旨的自治社团,但在英国国家主导型现代社会福利制度的建构过程中,它仍产生了极为重要的政治影响。In the 18 th and 19 th and the early 20 th century Britain, mutual aid dominated by friendly societies is so popular that British society is greatly influenced in this period and even afterwards.Although friendly societies are aimed to provide social security to their members in a mutual way,and not interested in national politics, they still play a very important role in British domestic political life and the establishment of the modern welfare state.
