摘　　要：以理性行动理论为指导,对影响西部农村居民迁移意愿的家庭结构因素进行探讨。通过对"西部社会经济变迁调查"数据的分析,证明了迁移意愿是基于家庭结构的理性决策,家里是否有父母或子女是影响个人迁移意愿的重要因素。在考虑了年龄和教育的影响之后,有学龄子女的农村居民迁移意愿较低,有老年父母的农村居民迁移意愿较高。Guided by rational action theory,this study investigates the influences of family structure factors on migration intentions of rural residents in China＇s western region.We contend that rural residents＇ intentions to migrate into cities are rationally formed and are based on concerns of the whole family units,rather than on individuals only.Using data from the China Social Change Survey,we found that the presences of older parents and young children significantly influence individuals＇ decisions of whether to migrate.When age and education effects are taken into account,those who have school-age children are less willing to migrate,and those who have older parents alive are more willing to migrate.
