摘  要:"理念性的事业"这一表达是对大学教育本义在教育哲学层面的回答,理念性事业的内涵是指大学教育是生产理念、受制于理念并由理念支撑的理性事业。理念性的理性事业决定了大学校长的治校方式主要是理性治校,理性治校分为界限清晰、泾渭分明的"办学领域"的治理与"教育领域"的治理。在理念性事业和理性治校引领下,大学教育的终极目的是培养出能够关注自身及他人行为背后价值理念的社会公民。The expression"conceptual enterprise"is the answer to the question of"What is the original meaning of university education?"from the perspective of educational philosophy.Conceptual enterprise means that university education is a rational cause that produces ideas,and is restrained and supported by ideas.Conceptual enterprise also determines that university presidents govern mainly through rational governance.Rational governance is divided into the two clear-cut fields of governance in school-running and education respectively.Guided by the notions of conceptual enterprise and rational governance,the ultimate goal of university education is to cultivate social citizens that care for the hidden values that lie behind the behaviors of themselves and other people.
