摘　　要：时事小说作为一种特殊的小说流派,肇端于世变,与社会、政治的变迁关系密切。但溯其远源,又与传统文化因素密相关联,如处士横议传统、尊史传统、杂文学传统等。藉着对时事小说生成渊源的追溯,将其置于中国文化史的脉络中加以思考,可探讨其得以生成的某种深层文化动因。Current event fiction is a special fiction genre. It originated from the vicissitudes of time and is strongly related to the changes in society and politics. A more remote origin of this kind of fiction connects it to other factors in traditional culture, for example, the tradition of non-official scholars＇ commentaries, the tradition to evaluate history, and essay traditions. Through an analysis of the origin of current event fiction, especially when the origin is embedded in the complexities of Chinese cultural history, we can find the underlying cultural motivation that prompted the generation of this special kind of fiction.
