Research on Combustion Characteristics of a High-Pressure Common Rail Diesel Engine Fuelled with Hybrid Dimethoxymethane Diesel

摘  要:以某电控高压共轨柴油机为研究对象,研究燃用4种比例的甲缩醛柴油混合燃料对其燃烧特性的影响。通过发动机台架试验发现,不改变柴油机的燃油供给系统和燃烧系统,在等过量空气系数和等转速下,添加甲缩醛后,最大压力升高率提高64.3%,压力峰值提前;热效率增加,放热率峰值提前;扩散燃烧期缩短,预混燃烧期未明显增长,燃烧持续期缩短;当量油耗降低。研究结果表明,添加甲缩醛改善了柴油机的燃烧特性。With an electrically-controlled high-pressure common rail diesel engine as research object, this paper studies the influence of four diesel- dimethoxymethane(DMM) fuels with four proportions of DMM on combustion characteristics. The results show that when the engine fuel supply system and combustion system do not modify and under the conditions of same engine speed and equal excess air coefficient, adding DMM increases the maximum pressure rise rate of 64.3%, and the pressure peak value appears in advance. The thermal efficiency increases and the heat release rate peak value appears in advance. The period of diffusive burning shortens, and the premixed combustion period does not lengthen obviously while the total combustion duration shortens, and equivalent fuel consumption decreases. Therefore,adding dimethoxymethane to diesel improves the combustion characteristics of diesel engine.
