摘　　要：本文侧重考察了英国老年社会工作的发展状况,并探讨了其对我国老年社会工作研究的有益启示,认为应当借鉴系统开发知识的方法,有序推进高质量的老年社会工作研究,同时提出当前推进老年社会工作研究的重点在于:老年社会工作的价值;法律、政策和标准等正式文件;合作与伙伴关系以及老年社会工作教育。This paper gives a review of the development of British gerontological social work.The paper then discusses the enlightenments received from the development of British gerontological social work. Chinese researchers should take a methodical approach to develop gerontological social work knowledge and promote its high-quality research. Finally the paper suggests four research priorities： gerontological social work＇s value, legislations and policies and standards documents, collaboration and partnership, gerontological social work education.
