摘　　要：20世纪20年代开始,西方发达国家开始系统研究美丽村镇建设,从研究成果看,主要是针对村镇布局、地域、空间组合、周边环境的影响等多个方面进行探讨;提出了美丽村镇建设的田园城市理论、二元结构理论、自然生态设计理论、人居环境科学理论等主要理论,探索出美丽村镇建设的产业、旅游、生态、文化、环境等主导模式;我国对美丽村镇建设也做了多种有益尝试。Since 1920 s, the western countries have begin to study the construction of beautiful villages and towns. From their research results, we found that they mainly aimed at the village layout, geography, spatial combination, the influence of the surrounding environment and so on, which put forward the following main theory, like the rural urban theory, dual structure theory, natural ecological design theory, human-settled scientific theory, etc., some dominant modes have been explored, such as the industry, tourism, ecology, culture, environment of the construction on beautiful villages and towns. Therefore, we also have made several attempts on building the beautiful villages and towns.
