摘 要:为了减小液晶波前校正器的响应时间,本文结合光控取向技术,研究了取向层预倾角及锚定强度特性对器件响应性能的影响。以液晶动力学方程为依据,分析预倾角效应对液晶器件响应时间的影响;利用预倾角及锚定强度与响应时间的定量关系,推导出锚定强度与预倾角的关系,从而简化了锚定强度的测量方法。采用光谱法监测了光控取向膜的取向度;以此为依据,利用4种不同曝光方式获得了不同的预倾角。理论模拟及实验结果一致表明:偶氮染料分子(SD1)获得一定的锚定强度后,通过降低其预倾角角度,其所制器件的响应性能实现了优化。In order to reduce the response time of liquid crystal wavefront corrector, the effect of pretilt angle and anchoring strength on the device response performance are studied in this paper, using photo-alignment technology. The liquid crystal molecular dynamic equation is solved to obtain the relation between pretilt angle and response time. According to the quantitative relationshios among the pretilt angle, the anchoring strength and the response time, a formula is derived to describe the relation between anchoring strength and pretilt angle. This study can be used to simplify the measuring method of anchoring strength. The order parameter of photo-alignment film were measured by spectrometry. Based on this study, several photoaligned LC cells with different pretilt angle are fabricated with four different exposure modes. Theoretical simulation and experimental results consistently showed that:after azo dye molecules (SD1) obtained a certain anchoring strength, the response performance of device will be optimized by reducing the pretilt angle.
