基于时长对比的学习者语块质量研究

摘　　要：研究从时长对比的角度考察中国英语学习者朗读口语中的语块质量问题。研究采集了学习者的朗读录音和教师的口语流利性评分,借助声学图谱和人工听辨,对学习者语块的边界特征进行系统分析。研究发现:和本族语者相比,学习者语块和块中功能词的时长较长,且和口语流利性评分中度负相关;块尾实义词的时长较短,表明其外部边界划分不清。研究对英语口语教学和学习具有一定的指导意义,提醒我们关注语块的韵律性。The present research aims to investigate the chunk quality in the Chinese EFL learners＇ reading speech from the perspective of duration contrast. With the EFL learners＂ recordings and teachers＂ fluency ratings collected, the chunks＇ boundary features were analyzed systematically from the perspective of duration contrast by means of acoustic spectrum and artificial perception. The results are as follows： compared with native speakers, the Chinese EFL learn- ers exhibited longer time for the production of chunks as well as function words, and produced the last content words for shorter time, resulting in the unclear demarcation between chunks. The study will have instructive significance to the teaching and learning of spoken English, and will draw our attention to EFL learners＂ prosodic features in the chunk production.
