Nordic Sea is a connecting area between the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean playing a fundamental and essential role in the global ocean circulation and climate development. In this paper,EOF method is used to analyze the SLA data from the satellite remote sensing, giving its spacetime distribution characteristics.Using the data from SODA system and ISHii Reanalysis data, the paper individually completes the SVD analysis of the SSH and SST in Nordic Sea and figures out the characteristics of the marine salinity variance. It shows that seasonal changes are the main driving factor of the SLA overall changes.Besides, the sinking flow in the central area causes the SLA in the central area abnormally lower than other areas,in which the East Greenland seawater intersects with the North Atlantic warm seawater leading to the generation of a higher salinity, lower temperature, higher density sinking seawater. In the end,the paper analyze the SST changes of Nordic Sea in recent twenty years, concluding that average SST in the Nordic sea area is increasing at a rate of 0.024/year.It proves that more energy above the sea surface is being transported into the ocean bottom, which can help lower the global temperature increase for a redistribution of energy.
