《迷雾惊魂》中的“树”意象及其功能

摘　　要：意象是叙事文本中的常用手法,是作家融入特定情感和寓意,运用语言媒介呈现出来的主观情感和客观物象的结合体。在《迷雾惊魂》中,斯蒂芬·金反复呈现了"树"意象,使这一日常生活意义上的物象上升为积淀着个体生命创建的艺术意象,具有强大的意象符指和意义结构功能。在对这些意象解读和梳理的过程中,发现这一由人类原型意象产生的"树"意象可以有效地推动叙事发展、烘托情景气氛,使文本呈现出一种内在的审美张力,为读者解读文本提供更加新颖的视角。Imagery is a commonly used means in narrative texts. It is an amalgamatwn ot subjecnve feel- ings and objective objects and writers represent images in language media with special feelings and allegory. In The Mist Stephen King repeats the images of trees and makes the everyday objects develop into artistic images with individual characteristics, revealing powerful image signification and significance. When analyzing the images, it can be found that the images of trees, which evolve from human archetypal images, can effectively advance development of narration and promote associated？ vibe and atmosphere so that the text shows some in- ner aesthetic forces？ and provides some novel perspectives for readers＇ understanding.
