摘　　要：在孔子学院发展中,政府面临两难选择:一方面政府需依托孔子学院实现公共职责,满足社会需求,为其提供多层面的支持;另一方面政府的过度干预往往会加剧孔子学院的"政治色彩",增加他国对孔子学院的警觉,甚至是排斥和抵制,阻碍其发展。基于此,政府应对孔子学院实行"适度干预",强调干预的客观必然性和合理有效性,遵循干预边界的适度性、干预方式的适当性和干预策略的适时性原则,以提高孔子学院的组织绩效,实现组织使命。The Chinese government is confronted with a dilemma during the development of the Confucius Institute. On the one hand, the Chinese government needs to implement its public functions through the Confucius Institute to fulfill the social needs and to provide support for the Confucius Institute in different ways. On the other hand, the excessive interventions of the Chinese government will make the Confucius Institute more ＂political＂. Thus, other countries may become alert and even reject the Confucius Institute, which will hinder the development of the Confucius Institute. Therefore, the Chinese government should take moderate interventions as the necessary and effective means. In order to improve the organization performance and achieve its missions, the Chinese government should take moderate interventions according to the principles of the appropriate boundary and methods as well as timely strategies.
