摘　　要：尧是中华民族上古帝王之一。传说尧出生、受封于河北唐县,即位后也曾以此地为政治活动中心。尧有圣德,他无私禅让,识人善任,与民休戚,是中国古代最为著名的贤君之一。Yao was one of the emperors in Chinese ancient times. It is said that Yao was born in Tangxian of Hebei Province and was enfeoffsed there. Yishui basin was the center of his political activities in the early tenure of Yao. Emperor Yao was the most excellent emperor in Chinese history. It is said that he demised his throne to Shun, discovered and used well talented persons, and shared joys and sorrows with people.
