摘　　要：除曲阜孔庙外,都城中央官学孔庙乃为各历史时段孔庙发展的风向标和表率。结合制度研究,将都城中央官学和孔庙的建设放在时代和城市背景中逐一考察,详尽地梳理了历代都城中央官学和孔庙的演变轨迹。同时,尝试厘清中国古代都城史研究领域中部分尚属含混的问题,如都城孔庙的出现时间、建筑配置、都城中的选址、祭孔程序等,恰是对古代都城空间的再认识和可能的补充。Combined with a study on institutions, this paper situates state-run schools and Confucian temples in imperial capital cities in the context of specific time and urban backdrops to chart out the trajectory of the evolution of both institutions. It ventures at complementing conventional wisdom of the study of ancient Chinese capital cities by identifying problems including the date of the emergence of first Confucian temples, architectural arrangement, siting of the capital city, procedures of worshipping ceremonies, etc.
