摘　　要：以内蒙古科技大学图书馆和中国科学院山西煤炭化学研究所图书馆为例,详细对比分析了高校图书馆与研究所图书馆的运行模式和特点,阐述了高校图书馆与研究所图书馆面临的困难与挑战,希望二者能通过彼此学习借鉴,更好地服务读者。Taking the library of Inner Mongolia University of Science ＆ Technology and the library of Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry under Chinese Academy of Sciences as two examples, this paper carries out a detailed comparative analysis on the operating modes and characteristics of university library and institute library, expounds the difficulties and challenges faced by university library and institute library, and hopes that both university library and institute library can serve better the readers through learning from each other.
