摘　　要：As an Arabic saying goes, ＂Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China.＂ For Arab people as common as Selin, China is a distant and mysterious land. To enhance mutual communication, Chinese government has been inviting Arab artists to participate in an annual artists residence program since 2009. Their works created during the residence program are displayed in an international touting exhibition. The program has currently received nearly a hundred artists from Arab countries.
