摘　　要：为响应国家"全民阅读"的号召,了解海南省居民的阅读现状,分析海南省在实现"全民阅读"道路上的差距。2014年5月至2015年3月,海南省图书馆联合海南大学马克思主义学院和政治与公共管理学院对海南省居民的阅读现状进行深入调查,通过对海南省居民阅读习惯和水平的研究,分析其中存在的问题,有针对性地提出操作性强的对策和建议,为在海南省推广"全民阅读"奠定了理论基础。Hainan Library combines School of Marxism Hainan University and School of Politics ＆ Public Adminis- tration Hainan University to investigate further the reading situations of its citizens in May, 2014 to March, 2015, in order to re- sponse to the call of＂nationwide reading＂, to get know of the reading habits of citizens in Hainan, and to analyze the gap caused by achieving the goal of＂nationwide reading＂. Through the research on citizens＇ reading habits and proficiency in Hainan, that is the analysis of problems exsiting in it, this paper puts forward targeted and actionable countermeasures and suggestions so as to lay a theoretical foundation to promote the policy of ＂nationwide reading＂ in Hainan.
