第1~3组电压120k V,电流分别为100m As、50m As、30m As;第4组电压100k V,电流30m As。 Purpose: To study the application of low-dos 2-slice spiral CT scan technique in examining pediatric Orbit. Materials and Methods: 40cases of children with normal paranasal sinus and mild paranasal sinusitis examined by Philips MX4000 Dual CT were collected. These cases were divided into 4 groups ( each group 10cases), group 1, 2, 3 were scaned by 120kV, 100mAs, 50mAs, 30mAs; group 4 by 100kV, 30mAs. Other scan parameters were fixed. Image quality of each group was compare by using Kruskal-Walls test and Nemenyi test to see whether there was difference between varied groups. Results: compared with group 1, CTDIvol of group 2 to 4 were reduced by 50%, 70%, 82%, respectively. No significant difference was found between group 1 and group 2 ( x2 = 0. 53, p 〉 0. 01 ) but there was significant difference be- tween group 1 and group 3 to 4 (x2 = 28. 67, 51.52, p 〈 0. 01 ). Conclusion: Low dose 2-slices spiral CT scanning can be used in the Orbital examinations of children, Low dose CT scan with 120kV, 50mAs (CTDIvol 12. 9mGy) can satisfy the di- agnostic requirements.
