摘 要:香港自古以来是一个滨海地区,海神信仰氛围非常浓厚,但以海神命名的庙宇却不多见,随着时代的发展,香港民众已经很少向神灵祈求保佑航行安全,海神信仰在香港的生存状态已经改变。本文以重新修葺的大埔元洲仔大王爷神庙为切入点,分析了海神信仰在该地区的信仰基础,认为当今海神信仰虽未消亡,但在信众间的影响点已经发生了转变,从最初的护佑海上航行安全,转而成为护佑一方的神明,进而成为新时代民众精神和社会组织的纽带。Hong Kong has long been a coastal area, and seagod worship atmosphere prevailed, but temples named after seagods are rare. With the development of the times, the people of Hong Kong have rarely pray to gods for blessing the safety of navigation and seagod worship in Hang Kong's has changed. Taking the renovated Tsai Wang Ye Temple in Tai Po Yuen Chau as the breakthrough point, the paper analyzes the belief base of the seagod worship in Hongkong and argues that though today' s sea god faith is not dying, the influence among the believers has changed. A conclusion is drawn that seagod worship has changed from the original protection of maritime navigation safety to the protection of the people of the area, and finally a bond of public spirit and social organizations in the new era.
