摘　　要：席氏家族是江南的一个名门望族,绵延千余年。席氏家族以经商起家,家境殷实,但其子弟博雅好古,嗜好收藏,从明至清出现了多位藏书家,营造了一方浓厚的书香氛围。席氏在藏书之外亦从事刻书事业,它所创办的扫叶山房历经数百年,是江南重要的民间出版机构之一。本文试图以席氏家族的历史发展为主线,从席氏藏书的代表人物入手,分析席氏家族藏书的特点,继而围绕扫叶山房探讨席氏家族刻书事业的发展,揭示出席氏家族这个江南望族在推动文献收藏和传播方面的贡献。The Xis was a famous family in the south of Yangtze River which lasted more than one thousand years. The Xi family became rich for their engagement in trade. However, the young generation was interested in col- lecting books, and several bibliophiles appeared from Ming to Qing Dynasty, creating a literate atmosphere. The Xi family also engaged in printing books and set up a significant publishing agency named Sao Ye Shan Fang, lasting hundreds of years. The paper discusses the history and representative figures of the Xis, analyzes the features of their book collection and the development of Sao Ye Shan Fang, to demonstrate the family＇ s contributions in promoting lit- erature collection and dissemination.
