摘　　要：加拿大文化是各民族在迁徙、融合的过程中形成的"大拼盘"文化,具有多元性和边缘性。为了让本土民众不至于患上文化上的集体失忆症,不少加拿大作家在写作中十分强调民族意识。作为加拿大当代最有声望的英语作家之一,玛格丽特·阿特伍德在对于加拿大人文化身份的追问中以自己的写作实践给出了"就在这里"的答案,强调以文学写作来建构民族身份。The cultural characteristics of Canadian native culture were mainly reflected in its cultural diversity and marginality in the process of mutual assimilation. Many contemporary Canadian writers have insisted that national consciousness should be reflected in their works. By her writing, Margaret Atwood, who is the outstanding one among them, said ＂This is the place＂ as the answer to the question ＂Where is here＂ when Canadian cultural identity was questioned.
