摘　　要：寇猛在北魏历史上是一个不起眼的小人物,《魏书》对其记载也极其简单。随着寇猛墓志的出土,关于寇猛的身世才逐渐清晰起来。寇猛的家世反映出原本显著的一个代北姓氏,随着南迁、改姓等社会变革,其地位不断下降,直至被遗忘的历程。寇猛因为在宣武帝时期受到重用而被魏收记于《魏书》中,但是他并不能挽救整个家族衰落的命运。寇猛家世生平虽属个案,但反映了普通北族人南迁洛阳后的发展命运。Kou Meng was kind of nobody in Northern Wei Dynasty, and there are few records of him in Weishu （history of Wei Dynasty）. With the epitaphs of him unearthed, we could learn more about his life. The life of Kou Meng＇s family reflected the process of a renowned family surnamed Daibei declined continuously to be forgotten with the reformation of southward movement, surname change etc. Kou Meng was recorded in Weishu because of his important position in the regime governed by Xuanwu Emperor, but he couldn＇t change the declining of his family. The life of Kou Meng＇s family is just a case, but it could reflect the developing trend of society at that time.
