摘　　要：谢瓦莱是法国布尔巴基学派的创始人之一,在代数数论和李群领域的工作对数学有重要贡献,其追求体现结构和严谨抽象的写作风格对布尔巴基学派有深刻影响。20世纪30年代谢瓦莱曾到德国去访学,跟随阿廷、哈塞等数学家学习,德国数学的代数学方法和技巧对他日后数学工作有着深远影响,也影响了布尔巴基学派。通过对谢瓦莱工作的分析可以更好地认识布尔巴基学派,更好地理解和把握代数数论在20世纪上半叶的发展。Chevalley, one of the founders of the French group Bourbaki, made significant contribution to algebraic number theory and Lie group in mathematics. His pursuit of the structure and the rigorous, abstract style had profound effects on Bourbaki. Chevalley studied mathematics with Artin and Hasse in Germany in the 1930s. His mathematical works, as well as Bourbaki, were profoundly influenced by algebraic method and technique of German mathematicians. By analyzing Chevalley＇s work, this paper contributes to a better understanding of Bourbaki, as well as the development of algebraic number theory in the first half of the twentieth century.
