摘　　要：Research progress on the heterosis, cytoplasmic male sterility and biotechnology breeding of processing pepper （Capsicum annuum L.） was introduced, and the problems of limited germplasm resources and varieties of processing pep- per, large gap with the foreign companies were pointed out. Some suggestions were proposed on strengthening innovation and collection of germplasm resources, breed- ing processing pepper varieties, enhancing breeding level of processing pepper and its market competitiveness.介绍了中国加工辣椒(Capsicum annuum L.)在杂种优势、雄性不育和生物技术育种方面的研究现状,指出了中国加工辣椒育种中存在加工辣椒资源及品种匮乏、与国外育种公司差距大等问题,提出了加强加工辣椒资源收集与创新、选育加工辣椒专用品种、提高中国加工辣椒育种水平及品种市场竞争力的发展思路。
