Objective To investigate the clinical significance of Densitometry Acoustic(AD)in the quantitative evaluation of carotid plaque stability. Methods89 patients hospitalized in our hospital in the new cerebral infarction patients were divided into two groups, control group 42 cases were given conventional treatment, the experimental group of 47 cases on the basis of conventional treatment to give Probucol for treatment. Both groups used FHILIPS IU22 type ultrasonic diagnosis instrument for examination. Results After 6 months, the AII c% in normal intima had an increasing trend, but no statistical significance. In the treatment group, the AII c% of each type was significantly increased, and the change rate of A II c% was significantly different from that of the control group. Conclusion Aspirin and Probucol by different mechanisms in a certain extent can increase the acoustic density of various types of plaques. Acoustic densitometry detection technology can quantitatively distinguish different tissue types of atherosclerotic plaque, the dynamic changes of follow-up treatment before and after plaque histological structure and for clinical diagnosis and treatment provide valuable basis.
