摘　　要：我国少数民族地区主要分布在欠发达以及生态环境较差的边境地带,多数民族地区交通闭塞,经济滞后,人民生活水平落后于全国平均水平。少数民族地区快速发展经济的关键在于科学技术的普及与运用。民族地区的科普工作由于历史、宗教、文化、地域等因素,具有长期性、迫切性、复杂性等特征。本文针对我国当前民族地区科普工作中普遍存在的问题提出了若干建议,希望对今后我国少数民族地区加大加快开展科普工作,进而促进少数民族和民族地区经济社会发展有所助益。The ethnic minority concentrated regions are mainly distributed in the frontier region of with un- developed economy and bad ecological environment. Most of them is unblocked in transportation, lagged be- hind in economy, fall back of the average economic level of the country. The key to develop economy rapidly of the ethnic minority concentrated region is to popularize and the science and technology and apply them into practice. The science popularization work in the ethnic minority concentrated region has the characteristics of long - term, urgency, and complexity due to the factors of history, religion, culture, region, etc. Aiming at the problems existed in the science popularization work in the ethnic minority concentrated region, this paper gives some suggestions, hoping to stimulate the work, and promote economic and social development of the ethnic minority concentrated region.
