摘　　要：晚明江南士绅陈龙正创立的嘉善同善会是当时影响最大的慈善组织之一。作为陈龙正救世努力的重要一环,嘉善同善会一方面从事劝善,一方面救助贫困,将鼓励做好人与行好事有机结合,取得明显效果,对于明末及清朝的民间慈善事业产生了重要影响。Jiashan Charity Association, established by Chen Longzheng who was a famous gentleman in the South Yangzi River Area in late Ming Dynasty, was one of the most significant charity organizations of that time. As part of Chen＇s salvation efforts, Jiashan Charity Association both worked on encouraging philanthropy and relieved poverty, encouraging the organic combination of being good with doing good. By so doing, great achievements were obtained and had an important effects on folk charity during the period of late Ming and Qing Dynasties.
