摘　　要：乾隆花园是中国帝王朝代幸存下来的具有独特建筑和历史风格的综合体，是唯一一个专门为皇帝退位后私人使用的私家帝王花园。但由于过去的不重视，各类材料的老化使得原本优雅的室内外空间和环境面目全非。从2001年开始，美国世界建筑文物保护基金会（WMF）与故宫博物院合作，开始了共同保护宁寿宫花园中的建筑——倦勤斋的项目。Garden of Emperor Qianlong was the only private garden for a retired emperor in the dynastic history of China, featuring a unique architectural and historical style. Beginning in 2001, the US-based World Monuments Fund and the Palace Museum collaborated in restoring Juan Qin Zhai, a building in the garden of Ningshou Palace in the Forbidden City. In 2003, the Palace Museum and Tsinghua University codeveloped the Palan for the Protection of the Garden of Ningshou Palace. In March 2006, the two sides signed an agreement on restoring the Garden of Emperor Qianlong, launching the effort to restore the garden to its former glory.
