摘　　要：主题图书馆是指通过特定领域的专藏和服务来满足人们对专类知识和专门主题信息需求的图书馆,在公共图书馆服务体系中有着重要的价值。近年来,杭州市公共图书馆服务体系中的主题图书馆建设取得了积极进展,主题确定、馆址选择、多方合作、馆藏体系构建以及服务方式设计等是其中的关键因素。Special libraries often have a more specific clientele than libraries in traditional educational or public settings,and deal with more specialized kinds of information.Their collections and services are more targeted and specific to the needs of their clientele.Special library is a valuable and indispensable part of public library service system.A number of special libraries have been established and well developed in Hangzhou in recent years,and theme determination,site selection,multi-party cooperation,collection system construction,service method design are the key elements in this process.
