摘 要:介绍了左手材料概念及其电磁特性,利用左右手传输线的基本理论,在厚度为0.8 mm的微带介质基板的正反两面分别腐刻出不同形状,组成相互耦合的十字交叉型结构.利用HFSS仿真软件.设计一款介电常数为2.55的基于左手材料十字交叉耦合型超宽带(UWB)滤波器,并研究了不同参数对滤波器性能的影响.通过对UWB滤波器参数的优化,最终得到该滤波器的通带范围为3.1 GHz^10.6 GHz,通带内插入损耗小于0.49 dB,尺寸为7.2 mm×15.8 mm,实现了基于左手材料十字交叉耦合型UWB滤波器结构简单、高增益、小型化的设计.A new type of ultra-wideband (UWB) filter has been designed in this paper. Based on the concept ofleft-handed material (LHM), the filter has negative permittivity and permeability. The substrate is with a thicknessof 0.8 mm and a relative dielectric constant of 2.55. By etching a cross-coupled structure on the surface of thesubstrate, a frequency pass-band from 3.1-10.6 GHz ,which meets the requirement of UWB applications, isachieved. Thus, an UWB filte with high selectivity is developed using only one unit cell,which leads to low insertionloss (less than 0.49 dB) and compact size (7.2 mm × 15.8 mm). By HFSS software simulation and testing severaldifferent parameters influence on filter performance, resulting filter has superior impedance characteristics.Thedesign of a cross-coupled LHM UWB filter with simple structure , high gain, and miniaturization was achieved.
