摘　　要：澳大利亚马力围图书馆在地方历史文献资料的收集与整理工作中做了很多有益的尝试:扩大历史文献资料的收集范围,细化历史文献资料的记录内容;基于图书馆管理系统进行编目,实现MARC格式向元数据格式的转换,实现图书馆OPAC与数据库资源的双重搜索。面对地方历史文献资料收集与整理工作的不足,我国公共图书馆应借鉴澳大利亚马力围图书馆的成功经验,在收集工作上实现兼容并包,在编目工作上实现多种著录格式的转换,同时实现与其他信息机构的合作。Marrickville Library in Australia has done a lot on the collection and management construction of local historical documents.Marrickville Library expanded the scope of the collection of historical documents, detailed recordings of historical documents; on the management, cataloging based on the library management system, Marrickville Library realized the transition from MARC format to metadata format, so dual search of OPAC and database resources is impleted. For the lack of local historical documents collection and management, public libraries in China should learn from the successful experience of Marrickville Library, be as inclusive as possible in collection, convert various description formats, and cooperate with other information agencies.
