摘 要:本文借用国外禅学概念"行事学术"及相关语言哲学理论,形成一个禅宗活句意义生成机制的分析框架,分析和解释禅宗活句使用的4个典型案例。研究发现,禅宗机缘性会话中活句的意义生成乃是以行事为主体的意义建构。由此形成的禅宗语言哲学意义观认为,语用层面的意义是表意过程的主体,语义层面的意义是语用意义生成的基础;语用意义的生成以语义意义的消解、解构甚至破除为前提。Drawing on the concept of "performative scholarship"in Zen studies abroad and related theories in the philosophy of language,this paper attempts to develop an analytical framework for meaning generation of Zen live utterances and thereupon analyze four representative live utterances from Zen encounter dialogues. The study finds that meaning of live utterances in Zen encounter dialogues is constructed mainly on the performative( i. e. illocutionary and perlocutionary) dimension of the utterances. The Zen philosophy of language bases on this maintains that pragmatic meaning is the matrix of the meaning generation while semantic meaning serves as the basis of the pragmatic meaning,but this basis,as verified by the four cases analyzed,means that the pragmatic meaning is constructed based on the dissolution,deconstruction and even destruction of the semantic meaning.
