摘　　要：乡村精英的角色特征是中国乡村社会学研究的重要议题之一。乡村精英在不同的社会时期具有不同的角色特征,从传统乡土社会的保护人演变到现代市场社会的企业家,其中"铁腕精英"是现代乡村精英的一种特殊形态。乡村精英的角色特征主要取决于国家力量对乡村社会的渗透程度、乡村社会的市场化程度、乡村社会的组织方式以及个人利益的实现方式,其中国家力量对乡村社会的渗透程度是主导性变量,而个人利益的实现方式又受到前面三个变量的影响,四个变量的相互作用共同决定了乡村精英的角色特征。The role characteristic of the rural elite is one of the important issues in the study on the sociology of rural China. The rural elite has different role characteristic in different social period, from the protector in traditional rural society to the entrepreneur in modern market society,among whom, the "iron-hand elite"refers to a special form of modern rural elites. The role characteristics of the rural elite depends mainly on the penetration of the state power to the rural society, the marketization degree of rural society, organization mode of rural society and the realization way of personal interests, in which penetration degree of state power to the rural society is the dominant variable, and the way to achieve personal interests being influenced by the above three variables.The interaction of the four variables jointly determines the role characteristics of the rural elites.
