听之道——默温诗歌与中国文化因缘

摘　　要：默温是美国当代杰出诗人、"深层意象"派重要代表,他的诗学精神深受中国传统文化影响,但学界与批评界一直忽略或尚未认识到中国文化在默温创作中的影响,实际上,诗人致力毕生的听道诗学深受中国传统文化尤其是道家文化的启迪。在默温的个人诗学中,听是诗歌既要表现的形式又是要表现的主题,同时,听道还反映了他的生命观和生态观。W. S. Merwin is a very great American contemporary poet and an important representative of deep imagist. His poetics is deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture, but the academia and the critics have ignored or failed to realize the influence of Chinese culture on Merwin. Factually, the listening poetics Merwin has striven for has been inspired by Chinese culture, in particular, Taoism. In his personal poetics, listening is both the form and content of poetry. Besides, listening poetics shows his life view and ecological view.
