Objective To analysis the effect of effect of astragalus polysaccharides on serum TNF-ct, IL-6, P- selection, VCAM-1 and VEGF in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods 60 patients who were diagnosed with coronary heart disease were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy, and the experimental group was treated with astragalus polysaccharides on the basis of conventional therapy, after 14 d of treatment, the serum levels of inflammatory factors, P-selection, VCAM-1 and VEGF were detected in all patients. Results After treatment, compared with control group, the serum IL-6 and TNF-α levels were lower in the experimental group (all P〈 0.05 ); the serum P-selection, VCAM-1, VEGF level were lower in the experimental group (all P〈 0.05 ). Conclusion Astragalus polysaccharides can reduce significantly serum IL-6, TNF-α, P- selection, VCAM-1 and VEGF levels in patients with coronary heart disease.
